Bio: Zephrine Hanson is a certified Brick-by-Brick Advanced Facilitator and the founder of Denver Brick Club, where she designs and leads inclusive LEGO-based play programs for neurodiverse youth and families. With over 16 years of experience in community wellness, trauma-informed group facilitation, and therapeutic gardening, Zephrine creates supportive spaces where every participant can build confidence, skills, and meaningful connections. A late-diagnosed neurodivergent Black woman, military veteran photojournalist, and mother of three neurodiverse teens, Zephrine brings deep empathy, creativity, and lived experience to her work. Her unique perspective allows her to connect with participants and families from diverse backgrounds, especially those navigating intellectual and developmental disabilities, LGBTQIA+ identities, and other underrepresented experiences. Zephrine partners with schools, organizations, and families to deliver engaging, accessible, and impactful play sessions rooted in evidence-based practices and a commitment to intersectional inclusion. Her leadership ensures that every session is welcoming, empowering, and tailored to meet the needs of each group.
