簡歷: At Belleville Primary School, I have been leading Brick Club for the past three years as part of our commitment to inclusive, child-centred provision. Offered to pupils in Years 5 and 6, Brick Club has become a trusted space for children to connect, communicate and collaborate through play. As the school’s Senior Mental Health Lead, I see the club as a vital strand of our wider SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) support. It has been particularly impactful for children who are new to English, experiencing emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), or finding it difficult to express themselves verbally in the classroom. Structured, low-pressure interaction through shared building tasks allows children to grow in confidence and feel a sense of belonging. I am passionate about fostering joyful, safe environments where all pupils can develop socially and emotionally, and Brick Club plays a key role in achieving this.
