We are a community interest company registered in England under company number 11429775. Our registered address is the Officers' Mess Business Centre Royston Road, Duxford, Cambridge, England, CB22 4QH.

Our mission is to make sure every young person has access to positive social experiences and has the chance to make friends through play, as a result personal data is at the heart of what we do. This privacy policy is aimed to give you information about how we will use your personal data when you contact us, as outlined below.

How We Use Your Personal Data

When you register an account to become a trainer, mentor or delegate. When you register an account, we will collect your name, email address and password. We collect these details to fulfil our contractual obligations to you.

When you enrol and attend or participate in a training course either online or face to face. When you enrol in a training course, we will collect information including your name, contact details, organisation details, country of origin and your role including if you are a parent, carer, family member, professional or organisation. When you attend or participate in a training course we may also collect information on your dietary and accessibility requirements for the purpose of the course. We collect these details to fulfil our contractual obligations to you.

When you join our waiting list. When you join our waiting list for a particular training course, we will collect information including your name, contact details, organisation details, country of origin and your role including if you are a parent, carer, family member, professional or organisation. If the training course is based in another location, we will share your information with our local training partner who will contact you when the course becomes available. We collect and share these details based on our legitimate interest of letting you know when the course is available.

When you apply for a job with us. When you enter into the recruitment process with us we may collect your name, contact details, recruitment information (e.g. right to work documentation and references), qualifications, accreditations, and any additional information we may receive from our recruitment partners. We will use your personal data to assess your suitability for our available roles before taking steps at your request to enter into a contract with you. Where we process your right to work documentation, we will do so to comply with our legal obligations.

When you contact us either by phone or email with general queries, we will usually collect your name, contact details and information relating to your query, because it is in our legitimate interest to make sure we can properly respond to your query.

Technical information when you use our website. When you consent, we collect information about how you use our website. We use this information to improve our website and to better understand how people use it. More detail on the information we collect and how we do this is set out below.

Marketing and news updates. We will handle your personal information such as your name and email address to provide you with our news updates in line with any preferences you have told us about. When we send you our news updates because you have opted-in to receive them, we rely on your consent to contact you.

We may use your personal data such as your pictures or videos where you consent to these for marketing purposes.

We may share your personal data with third parties where we have a lawful reason to do so, including:

  • our business providers, suppliers and sub-contractors;

  • our professional advisors such as our lawyers, auditors or insurers;

  • event organisers;

  • trainers when you are a delegate to enable them to provide the training including for payment purposes

  • pilot partners, facilitators and trainers to effectively manage the Brick-by-Brick programme or law enforcement, government and regulatory agencies or other third parties as required by applicable law or regulation.

Where We Store Your Personal Data

If we need to transfer your personal data outside of the UK or EEA, we will make sure any such transfer complies with applicable data protection law.

Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the UK, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:
